Asylum Application Refused
Was your asylum application refused? There are a number of routes which you can take in order to appeal an asylum refusal. However, these routes can only be taken if the refusal of your application was based on the grounds of certain reasons.
If you have had your asylum application refused by the Home Office, it is highly advisable that you obtain the help of an immigration lawyer. Our immigration lawyers are experienced in appealing refused applications. One of them will be able to advise you on the best course of action and the next steps to take if you have had your application for asylum denied. He/she can also offer you legal assistance should you wish to appeal your asylum refusal, which includes legal representation in a Tribunal hearing.
Contact us now on 0333 363 8577 or use our online enquiry form to speak with one of our immigration lawyers. Our team are based across the UK, including in London, Manchester, or Birmingham. You can also use the office finder to find the closest branch to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
As it currently stands, an asylum refusal can be appealed if the application was refused on the grounds of:
- a human rights claim;
- a decision to remove or revoke humanitarian protection or refugee status; or
- an “international protection” issue or a decision that the application has no right to remain under EU regulations and laws.
If you do not qualify for refugee status you may still be permitted to stay temporarily in the UK for humanitarian reasons under a human rights application.
Under the European Convention on Human Rights, a person should not be returned to a country where there is a real risk that they will be exposed to torture, inhumane/degrading treatment or punishment.
Our expert immigration lawyers are highly-equipped to help you if you have had your asylum application refused, including emergency advice.
