IAS is very pleased to announce that we will be running a free seminar in Manchester city centre, on Thursday 18th July.

This will be aimed at helping hiring managers, employers and HR managers across the UK’s sectors who are concerned or want to know more about how Brexit will impact their recruitment processes.

Whether you’re involved in recruiting overseas professionals in the Engineering, Medical, Academic, Manufacturing or Oil & Gas sectors, this event will offer some perspective and advice on what you can do to prepare for the UK’s departure from the EU.

This event is free and is hosted by professional immigration lawyers, who are highly experienced at assisting businesses and employers who want to recruit and sponsor overseas staff.

The seminar will be lead by these lawyers, offering a chance for you to learn and ask any questions you need which might be relevant to you and your particular business and industry.

The seminar will cover the following areas:

  • An overview of Brexit and the impacts it may have on immigration and employment
  • The process of hiring foreign workers
  • Sponsorship, Tier 2 Visas and your requirements as an employer
  • HR Compliance – how you can remain compliant
  • A Q&A session

It will run from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Princess Street Hotel in Manchester city centre.
