We have a wide-variety of services that can be tailored to your individual case, as we understand each enquiry is different. You can be matched with one of our lawyers for a one-off advice session, to talk you through your immigration options and the requirements you will need to meet as well as documentation you will need to present.

If you wish to have more in-depth support, our application package may be for you. Our solicitors can fill in your application, ensure your documentation is in order and do all liaising with the Home Office on your behalf.

Can your immigration lawyers in London’s Gants Hill help me make a Work Visa application?

With the changes to the points-based immigration system in the UK, it is more important than ever to ensure your application is correct and meets all the eligibility requirements to score your necessary points. That’s why our team are dedicated to helping foreign nationals who wish to work and offer their talents to the UK to be supported through the process of applying for a Tier 2 Work Visa.

This is the most common type of work visa, although there are of course others. For a general UK Work Visa, you must have a:

  • Valid certificate of sponsorship from a licensed employer that is hiring you
  • Already have a job offer from that company
  • Pass the English language requirement
  • Be able to support yourself and your family (if applicable) without accessing public funds.

You will only be able to apply for your visa once you have your certificate of sponsorship from your employer, and apply within three months of your certificate being signed. If you are successful, you will be able to stay in the UK for a maximum of 5 years.

If you would like advice on your work visa options or any other UK Visa route, please do get in touch. We would be happy to answer your questions and figure out what course of action is best for you.
