Can your North Ockendon immigration solicitors help with my Tier 2 Work Visa application?

Yes absolutely – if you’re a foreign national who wishes to work in the UK, our team would be delighted to assist you in your Tier 2 Skilled Worker Visa application.

It is incredibly important that your application is free of errors, that you meet all of the eligibility requirements and you have sufficient supporting documents to ensure your application is of the highest possible standard.

To meet the requirements for a Tier 2 Skilled Worker Visa (General), you must:

  • Have already received a job offer with a UK employer that holds a sponsor licence
  • Hold a Certificate of Sponsorship (a reference number from your employer that shows they are licensed to employ you)
  • Be able to prove you have passed a certified English Language test to the required level
  • Be able to support yourself financially and not rely on public funds
  • Pass the ‘genuine vacancy test’
  • Are over the age of 16 when you apply

Your job must have previously been advertised for at least 28 days before your employer can offer the role to applicants outside of the EEA. You musty apply within three months of you receiving your Certificate of Sponsorship, which your employer must apply for. You can only then apply for your visa at this point and up to three months after your CoS is issued to you. For advice, guidance and assistance with your Tier 2 Work Visa application, or for information on other work visa routes, call our team today on 0330 433 1213.
