Can your Tulse Hill immigration lawyers assist with applications for British Citizenship?
Yes, assisting with British citizenship applications forms a major part of our work here at the Immigration Advice Service. What sets us apart is the level of empathy we have for our clients. We know how important it is to become naturalised as a British citizen and have access to the array of benefits this brings. As a result, will do everything within our power to maximise your chances of success.
Many of our staff members have been through the UK immigration process themselves, and therefore have a first-hand understanding of how complex and at times stressful the immigration system can be to navigate without professional assistance. We use this understanding to guide us in our work, doing all we can to completely remove the stress and complexity from proceedings.
If you opt for our help, you will be assigned a lawyer who will sit down with you and discuss your situation in order to determine your eligibility for British citizenship. If it becomes clear that you are eligible and would therefore like to proceed with our Application Package, your assigned lawyer will handle all aspects of the British citizenship application process with the utmost care and attention.
From preparing a Letter of Representation that maximises the strengths of your application to the Home Office, to conducting a thorough document check to ensure that all of your supporting paperwork is in order, our legal service is designed to succeed. We will assist you in your preparation for both the Life in the UK Test and the English language exam, and will confirm that you satisfy the residency requirements.
For more information on how to proceed, get in contact with our client care team on 0333 305 9375. We look forward to hearing from you.
What documents will I need for my Tier 2 Visa application?
If you’re an overseas national that wishes to take up employment in the UK, you will need to apply for a Tier 2 Visa. In order for your application to be approved, you will need to submit the following documents:
- Evidence of your UK-based job offer;
- Proof that you have the required level of English language proficiency;
- Financial documentation such as bank statements that prove you have enough funds to support yourself and any dependents you intend to bring to the UK with you;
- A Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) from an approved Tier 2 sponsor;
- Your current passport (or any other valid travel document);
- Tuberculosis test results (if from a listed country);
- Proof that you have worked for your current employer outside of the UK (only relevant for Tier 2 Intra-Company Transfer Visas).
Failing to provide these documents may result in the refusal of your Tier 2 Visa application. With this in mind, it is strongly advised that you seek the help of one of our OISC-accredited lawyers.
