Robina Shah

Regional Head – IAS Midlands

Robina has over 20 years of experience in immigration law, which ranges from visa applications, all the way up to Judicial Review. As a highly experienced immigration lawyer, Robina is well equipped to deal with even the most complex immigration cases. Robina is based in the heard of the Midlands in our Birmingham office.

John Cahill

Regional Head – IAS Cheshire, North Wales, Merseyside & The Wirral

John has been working in immigration law in the Liverpool area for over a decade and is incredibly familiar with the cultural diversity of the city and its residents. The nearby areas of Cheshire, North Wales, Merseyside and The Wirral also come under John’s expert wing.

Houri Zahedi

Regional Head – IAS North West & Scotland

Houri is one of the UK’s leading immigration lawyers, currently practicing from the Manchester IAS office. She is responsible for the North West in its entirety, as well as Scotland, and has an extremely high level of expertise within immigration and asylum law.

Susan Harrison

Regional Head – IAS North Yorkshire & Tyneside

Susan is a renowned immigration solicitor and is particularly well known for her work in immigration law, having worked in the field for 10 years. Not only has Susan worked on complex cases up to the High Court, she has also advocated in country guidance cases on immigration and asylum in on The Gambia, Libya and Iran. Currently based in our Newcastle office, Susan is particularly talented in asylum cases, and advising Tier 2 sponsors and high net worth individuals looking to invest in UK businesses.

Abigail Solomon

Regional Head – IAS South & West Yorkshire

Abigail is highly experienced in immigration law in practice and has directly worked on a vast range of cases in the field of immigration and asylum. Abigail is currently based in our Sheffield office.

Uche Uwaezuoke

Regional Manager – IAS London & Hounslow Offices

Uche is a University of Hertfordshire graduate, completing her LLB (Hons) Law degree in 2002, after which she went on to complete her BVC at BPP Law School before being called to the bar in 2003. Ms Uwaezuoke became duel qualified in 2012 following her successful completion of the Qualified Lawyer Transfer Test, after which she was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales. As a highly experienced and specialist immigration solicitor, Uche is also qualified under the Law Society’s Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Senior Caseworker, as well as being a registered Level 3 Caseworker under the highly recognised OISC scheme.

At IAS, Uche is a Supervising Caseworker and Manages our two London offices in Central London and Hounslow respectively. She deals with all aspects of Immigration including under the Points Based System – Tier 1, 2, 4 and 5 as well as assisting clients with Licence Applications. She deals with Asylum, Human Rights, EU and Nationality Law in respect of public funded cases and private clients and regularly represents and Advocates on behalf of clients on Appeals/bails at the First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tier Tribunal. She is proficient in complex Immigration matters including regularising status for illegal entrants/overstayers, attending to detained clients, stopping removals as well as successfully dealing with several deportation cases for those that have committed criminal offences whilst in the UK. She also has experience in assisting clients with Judicial Review matters, frequently negotiating settlements for clients and obtaining injunctions to stop removals and deportations.
