Horatio: Study Visa with University Sponsorship

Horatio was given a scholarship to study in the UK but has never left his home country, Paraguay.

The university contacted IAS and took over the application for Horatio.  IAS completed all of the forms and documentation on behalf of Horatio and his prospective university and submitted it.

Only a few weeks later, Horatio was in the UK preparing to begin his new university life.

1: The situation

Horatio is a Paraguayan national who excelled at school and was given a full scholarship to study at a UK university.

He had never left his country before and was not sure what his next steps were.

His new university contacted IAS to assist with Horatio’s application for a Tier 4 Visa.

We arranged a conference call with him and his academic advisor so that everyone would be receiving the relevant information.

2: How IAS helped

IAS explained the process for Horatio and confirmed with the advisor where they would support him.

We sourced all of the relevant forms to fill out, and in fact, completed the majority of them ourselves with only a few minor details to be completed by Horatio.

We took complete ownership of the application and worked alongside him and his university to ensure that all the information was correct and to maximise his chances of success.

3: The outcome

With minimal involvement from Horatio, IAS completed and submitted his application for his Study Visa.

A few weeks later, it was granted successfully and Horatio shortly arrived in the UK to begin his studies.
