If you are an international sportsperson or qualified coach you may be able to work in a sporting role in the UK with a Tier 2 UK Sportsperson Visa. This visa is applicable if you are recognised by your sport’s governing body as being an elite member of your profession.

This visa is judged as part of the points-based system (PBS) and is under the Tier 2 Skilled Worker Visa category. It allows you to enter and live in the UK as a foreign national for a maximum of three years. This is provided you work within a role in which you will make an exceptional difference to your sport in the UK.

Our expert immigration lawyers can help you understand if you are eligible for a Tier 2 Sportsperson Visa. We can arrange and organise your Certificate of Sponsorship and liaise with your UK Sponsor and Governing Sports Body. Our services also include thorough document checks and the completion of your application form. Contact us on 0333 363 8577 or make an enquiry online to arrange a consultation with one of our immigration lawyers on your UK Sports Visa.
