You will need the following documents for your Transit Visa to Spain:
- A visa application form, which has to be filled in and then signed by the person applying.
- A valid passport that will still be valid for 3 months after you leave Spain.
- Two passport-size photos that have been taken recently. The pictures must comply with Schengen visa application photo rules.
- Copies of the data pages from your passport.
- Your original Seaman’s book, as well as a photocopy of it.
- A letter from the shipping company you will be travelling with.
- The letter needs to include the name, nationality, and date and place of birth of the seaman.
- Also, there should be information about their role on the ship.
