    The Immigration Advice Service Limited is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information.

    1. What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website?

    Your personal data will only be shared with relevant government agencies, organizations, or entities as required to process your immigration case. We will not disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes without obtaining your explicit consent.

    We take data security seriously and have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, or alteration.

    We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so. In addition:

    • Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.
    • We use regular Malware Scanning.
    • Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

    • All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

    Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccuracies, erasure of data, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to the processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes.

    IAS is committed to upholding the rights of relevant data subjects. These rights encompass the ability to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data associated with the individual. Furthermore, data subjects possess the authority to raise objections against processing, which includes direct marketing activities. It is important to note that data subjects also retain the right to file complaints with the appropriate Data Protection Authority, such as the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office.

    If you do not provide personal data, it is likely to be impossible for the IAS to enter into, or to continue with, a working relationship with you.

    Yes.
