IAA Level 2 Mock Exam Preparation
The aim of the Exam Technique Training is to provide participants with the knowledge of sitting their IAA Level 2 exam including practicing mock exam questions.
This half-day course does not cover the full training involved in the IAA Level 2 syllabus. However, some of the topics covered in the course will be relevant.

The course includes the opportunity to practice a typical question under exam conditions. Following this, there will be time for collective discussion and group feedback.

IAA Level 2 Exam Fees
There are fees associated with registering with the IAA at different levels.
As of 2025, for organisations, new registration for those at levels 2 and 3 depend on the number of advisers being registered:
- 1 to 4 advisers: £2,232
- 5 to 9 advisers: £2,500
- 10+ advisers: £3,023
Similarly, the fees for continued registration at levels 2 and 3 are as follows:
- 1 to 4 advisers: £1,646
- 5 to 9 advisers: £2,041
- 10+ advisers: £2,698
Meanwhile, new registration at level 1 stands at £733. This is also the fee payable for continued registration at level 1.
IAA Level 2 Exam Dates
IAA level 2 and 3 exams are held four times a year.
Meanwhile, IAA level 1 exams occur once a month. Exams are typically held on a Wednesday or a Friday and all start at 10:00am.
What the Level 2 Exam Entails
The Level 2 exam lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes and candidates are required to provide detailed responses to scenarios.
There are four sections in total on the exam paper.
