Jason Griffiths

Background and Experience

Jason Griffiths specialises in complex immigration cases. With 12 years of experience in the sector, he is now the Corporate BD Casework Team Leader for the UK Immigration Team at IAS. Jason is a compassionate lawyer, leader and problem-solver with an impressive track record.

Jason moved from the health sector to the Home Office in 2012 and became a Caseworker for UKVI. He later obtained his Level 2 IAA certification in 2016. Jason joined IAS as an Immigration Advice Team Leader in 2020.

Having experienced the other side of Immigration Law (from the government angle), Jason moved to IAS to help people and move away from a culture of refusals. His knowledge of rejections and grounds for refusal has given him a firm basis for making successful applications.

In one memorable case, Jason assisted a client with a history of criminal convictions in obtaining British Citizenship. Jason highlighted the client’s rehabilitation efforts, community contributions, and time elapsed since the last conviction, ultimately leading to a successful outcome and a chance for the client to turn their life around.

Another of Jason’s passions is health and nutrition. He is fascinated by the effects of the microbiome on our physical and mental health and focuses on peak performance in all areas of his life.
