Can an immigration lawyer in Kilburn help me with the Tier 1 Investor Visa?

Of all the many avenues to migrate and live in the UK, the Tier 1 Investor Visa seems most beneficial. Unlike most other migrants in the UK who usually have to wait between five to ten years to secure British Citizenship, those under an Investor Visa are put on a fast-track to residency. It is not uncommon for investors to secure British Citizenship within three years.

However, the rules and requirements are particularly stringent and the Home Office scrutinises each investor application that lands on its desk.

For example, although you do not require Sponsorship like Skilled Worker Visa applicants require, you must have at least £2 million at your disposal to invest in an eligible UK-based business. You must provide evidence of your earnings and intention to invest in a UK business.

Due to the lengthy and complicated legislation the Investor Visa route dictates, it is best practice to seek expert immigration advice. All of our immigration lawyers in Kilburn are well versed in corporate and business immigration law, and can even help you fill out your application to the highest standard.

Get in touch with our client care team today to hear about how our Application Package can help you secure your Tier 1 Investor Visa.

Can the Immigration Advice Service help me with my UK Partner Visa application?

At the Immigration Advice Service, we understand how important it is to be close to loved ones.  As such, we take great pride in reuniting families from all over the world.

If you wish to sponsor a loved one to come and live with you in the UK, you will require a Family Visa. More specifically, if you want your married spouse or unmarried partner to come to the UK, your other half will need to apply for a Spouse Visa or Unmarried Partner Visa

It is important to recognise the differences between the Spouse and Unmarried Partner Visa routes as the former entails evidence of a long-lasting marriage, while the latter requires applicants to provide evidence of a subsisting relationship that has lasted longer than two years.

Due to high volumes of fraudulent applications and ‘sham marriages’ being taken place for visa advantages, the Home Office takes extra precaution when combing through Family Visa applications. It is considered that the Spouse Visa and Unmarried Partner Visa are two of the most notoriously difficult visas to secure on the grounds that the applicant must convince the UKVI decision-maker that they are in a ‘genuine relationship’.

However, here at the Immigration Advice Service in Kilburn, our lawyers deal with Spouse Visa, Fiance Visa and Unmarried Partner Visas every day. We know exactly what the Home Office wants to see in your application, and we can even help you build a portfolio of evidence to maximise your chances of success.

Frequently Asked Questions

There is no specific timeframe for how long it takes the Home Office to process UK immigration applications. Although our office is based in Kilburn, London, we send all applications to UKVI in which applications are dealt with on a case-by-case basis and in order of receival.

It can depend on your individual circumstances such as where you are applying from in the world and which type of visa you are seeking. However, any gaps in your application or missing elements will result in a delay – if not a visa refusal.

Generally speaking, the Home Office aims to deliver a verdict on your visa application within 8 weeks.

If you require a faster verdict, you can opt for the Super Priority Service in which your application will join the ‘priority’ queue. Here, your application should be processed within five working days – but it can cost anywhere between £500 – £800.

Alternatively, here at the Immigration Advice Service, our lawyers in Kilburn can help you with your entire application within a 24-hour window. If you want to send your application off as quickly as possible but ensure that there are no gaps or potential flaws in your application, you can meet your IAS immigration lawyer in Kilburn within one working day. Your lawyer will work around the clock to ensure your application is sent off within this timeframe.

Speak to our client care team today to learn about our Super Priority and Fast-Track Service if you need urgent yet high-quality immigration advice with your application.
