Children under the age of 18 can travel to the UK with a Child Visitor Visa. This comes under the Standard Visitor Visa category and is valid for 6 months.
You can either travel alone or with an adult. If travelling alone your parent or guardian will have to provide written consent and give their full contact details.
You’ll also have to prove that you have suitable accommodation in the UK and enough money to support yourself and pay for your return or onward journey.

Nigeria Visitor Visa for Private Medical Treatment
It is possible to obtain a Visitor Visa to access private medical treatment in the UK. This visa is also available to those who wish to be an organ donor to an identified recipient in the UK.
The application fee for these visas in Nigeria is dependent on the expected duration of the treatment. A visa for less than 6 months costs £115 while one for 11 months or less costs £200.
UK Visiting Academic Visa
You can apply for a UK Visiting Academic Visa that lasts for 12 months and costs £200. Alternatively, you can visit for 6 months and once in the UK apply to stay up to 12 months. This will cost £1,000.

There are three Student Visa application routes for Nigerian students who wish to come to the UK, the Student Visa, Child Student Visa and Short-term Study Visa.
Student Visa
The UK Student Visa allows applicants over 16 to study in the UK for a further or higher education qualification.
