    Standard Visitor Visa Fees

    The Standard Visitor Visa is ideal for visiting the UK as a tourist, attending business meetings, visiting family, or short-term studying This visa lasts up to 6 months and costs £115.

    If you visit the UK regularly you can apply for a long-term Visitor Visa. A 2-year visa will cost £400, a 5-year visa costs £771 while a 10-year visa costs £963. With these visas, each individual visit must be no longer than 180 days.

    How Much Are Child Visitor Visa UK Fees from Nigeria?

    Children under the age of 18 can travel to the UK with a Child Visitor Visa. This comes under the Standard Visitor Visa category and is valid for 6 months.

    You can either travel alone or with an adult. If travelling alone your parent or guardian will have to provide written consent and give their full contact details.

    You’ll also have to prove that you have suitable accommodation in the UK and enough money to support yourself and pay for your return or onward journey.

    The fee for this visa is £115.

    Nigeria Visitor Visa for Private Medical Treatment

    It is possible to obtain a Visitor Visa to access private medical treatment in the UK. This visa is also available to those who wish to be an organ donor to an identified recipient in the UK.

    The application fee for these visas in Nigeria is dependent on the expected duration of the treatment. A visa for less than 6 months costs £115 while one for 11 months or less costs £200.

    UK Visiting Academic Visa

    You can apply for a UK Visiting Academic Visa that lasts for 12 months and costs £200. Alternatively, you can visit for 6 months and once in the UK apply to stay up to 12 months. This will cost £1,000.

    There are three Student Visa application routes for Nigerian students who wish to come to the UK, the Student Visa, Child Student Visa and Short-term Study Visa.

    Student Visa

    The UK Student Visa allows applicants over 16 to study in the UK for a further or higher education qualification.

    The Student Visa fee is £490 and the earliest you can apply is 6 months before the start of your course.

    Child Student Visa

    A Child Student Visa allows students between the ages of 4 and 17 to come to the UK for entry to an independent school. The UK visa fees in Nigeria for this visa are £490.

    Short-term Study Visa

    Come to the UK for up to 11 months to study the English language by applying for a Short-term Study Visa. The fee is £200.

      UK Work Visa Fees for Nigerians

      There are many Work Visa categories for entry into the UK. One of the most popular is the Skilled Worker Visa which allows Nigerians to come to the UK to work for an approved employer. You must have a confirmed job offer before applying.

      Skilled Worker

      A standard Skilled Worker Visa costs £719 for up to 3 years and £1,420 for over 3 years.

      If you want to join your family in the UK you can apply for a Family Visa. Family Visa fees in Nigeria depend on the relationship the applicant has with a British citizen or someone who is settled in the UK.
